Mileage Error after seizing up?

Featured Replies

After recently filling up & pulling away my MK3 Focus seized up with the ABS light going off.  As had filled up the trip meter was at think 330 miles, but after pulling over & getting it to restart the trip meter went to 530...!?!

How do you rest this so it shows an accurate amount, as it's showing approx half a tank & 230 miles remaining?

Any help/advice greatly appreciated!

Can you be more specific about 'seizing up'?

There is no reset for the range reading as such.  All you can really do is reset the module using diags or pulling a fuse.  Hopefully it'll sort itself out eventually.
