Hi All 

Looking for  a few Tips  / pointers 

Friend of ours bought a 2015 transit connect last month 70K miles 

Last week in went in to limp mode with 2 errors 

Injector 3 heater circuit high P1035 I think it was 

And also P169F 

The injector was replaced and that error has not come back ( P1035)

The P169f when cleared and the engine restarted comes straight back on and back to limp mode 

When I google this error a lot of sites seem to associate this with remapping errors but strange that it came on with the injector error

and no traction control or abs working

I asked and he said yeah he knew the van had been remapped it was stated in the ad for it 

Anyone else had this issue and any idea how to resolve is it a case of going to someone who does remapping to get it sorted ?

Check the vehicle battery voltage. If less than 12.32V charge the battery for 12 hours.

Inspect all earth bond straps between battery and the bodywork, and between the body and the engine block.

Tried 2 different code readers both came up with same code and got him to disconnect the battery and leave off for several hrs but no difference 

 

I will get him to check voltage and earth

My 2009 connect going in to limp mode and i had p490 code exhaust gas  recirculation  control circuit A high

i changed the Mapp Sencer, changed the EGR and the out let air hose had a split. now just brought a senser for down by the CAT converter going to change see how it goes. This might not sort the problem i hope the information  helps you.  Carl
