Fuse ?

Featured Replies

Is there a fuse for the PAM on my 2007, searched the diagrams online but cant seem to find one. I get no chime on selecting reverse and nothing from the sensors, no clicking. I wouldnt think the module has died as it only got 40,000 on it tho its still got age to it. I didnt turn it off when i was messing with FORscan when i did my cluster.

cheers

Have you checked that your reverse lights are still working ?

When you have the front wipers on does the rear wiper still switch on automatically when you select reverse ?

lights and wipers are fine. will need to check if rear wipes on selecting reverse never noticed.

rear wipe seems ok

Well if the rear wiper is activating automatically when you select reverse, then the GEM unit is getting the reverse signal from the gearbox. Also if the reverse light is still working then there is an output from the GEM, so it would seem the most likely fault is the parking sensor module.

I think it is located (or hidden) in the rear quarter on the drivers side. If you pull the carpet down on the side of the boot you should be able to see it.

thank you squire, any way to test or just replace it .... thanks

No easy way to test it. Probably find a replacement on eBay quite cheap.

You could just check with a meter when you get to the unit that it does have a positive supply (ignition on) and a good ground connection.

cheers, need to make sure everything works before i blow it up fitting a serious subwoofer 🤣

will also connect to my lappy make sure the PAM settings are correct
