Coolent temperature sensor location ??

Hello can someone tell me where I can find the coolent temperature sensor. I'm told it's in the thermostat housing. But when I go to buy a new thermostat housing online there's no place for a sensor to go In  confused.

    Try the coolant output housing at the LH end of the cylinder head.

    It's more this sort of shape I think.

    Yeah, it's on the engine block's coolant outlet housing, and looks like the picture just given. To help you locate it, the spark plug leads all connect to the coil pack, and the housing is located right under that.
