I need to charge my battery up occasionally as the van don’t get used much at the moment , I have found the poss under the bonnet where do I need to put the neg for tgr charger , I’m assuming the battery can stay in situ whist charging? Thanks

    Yes charge the battery on the vehicle.

    Positive battery charger lead connects directly to the battery positive terminal.

    Negative battery charger lead connects to  the chassis (bodywork) main earth point. Do not connect it to the battery.

    If you can not reach the chassis main earth point then any good earth point on the bodywork will be OK.

    Just follow the big black cable that comes off the battery negative terminal, it will only be about 300mm (12 inches) long and will be bolted the the bodywork. That is the main earth point.
