looking for some info i have a 2011 focus 1.6 petrol  zetec s 180bhp with a broken gearbox. does anyone know what model gearbox is fitted in this car. i have also heard the gearbox is the same one fitted to the fiesta st 180 does anyone know if this is true and will it fit my focus. thanks  any info would be great

    It's a B6 gearbox.  The same type is used in the Fiesta, though I would have thought the ratios would be different.  Ideally you'd be best off getting another Focus 'box.

    The full part number will be on a label on the gearbox, ensure the replacement matches your part number, but last letter can go up, not down

    EG 

    BV56 12345 BD in your car

    Replacement MUST be BV56 12345 B but can be BE BF BG etc NOT though BC BB BA
