I had a new drive belt and tensioner recently also. I'm really confused as to what it could be. The sound is really loud too

What are you doing in the video?  Is that just idling or is that at clutch bite?  There will always be some noise at clutch bite as the plates slip past each other.

It's atclutch bite. I understand there may be some noise but surely not this much and this loud. Mechanic who changed clutch is addiment its not the clutch

Was it making this noise before the clutch change?

What brand was the new clutch?

Has the mechanic suggested anything if he's so sure it's not the clutch?

If you've got any sensible & trustworthy mates, try and get them to hold it on the clutch with the bonnet open and see if you can pinpoint the area of the noise any better.  (Do it in reverse so they don't accidentally run you over).

Yea it was doing ot prior to the change, he hasn't got a clue either he's told me to just leave it until it worsens.

It doesn't seem to do it on flat, only when on a hill when its under stress.

Maybe try switching off the hill start assist for a few days to see if that helps.

Otherwise I'd have to agree with just leaving it until it gets worse.  I know that doesn't inspire confidence though.

I have already turned that off. I think it will be a case of just waiting for it to worsen
