Ford Galaxy Autolock doors

Featured Replies

Sent my 2013/14 galaxy in for some repairs this week (New instrument panel) and it's come back with autolocking doors. Everything locks when going over 10ish mph.

Any ideas how I can turn it off?!

Is it something I can do myself or does it need to go back to the garage?

Thanks so much.

Now that is a funny request 🤣

99% of requests on the forum is how can I turn auto-locking on?

It's not generally available on UK Ford vehicles (despite the owners handbook saying it is). If you look at your instrument cluster and go to the information panel, select vehicle settings, vehicle locks, and you should find the option to turn the feature off in there. If there is no option in the settings you will have to get the garage to turn it off, although I'm not sure why you would want to.
