Galaxy 2013 Powershift transmission Problems

Featured Replies

I have a Ford Galaxy 2013 2.0 Diesel and in November 2019 i had to have a new transmission assembly as it kept slipping gears, the car had done 57,000 miles. Fast forward to July 2022 and the limited transmission light kept coming on, Fault PO766 sticking solenoid, local Ford dealer advised a transmission oil change but may need another transmission, the car had done 27,000 miles since having the new transmission fitted. Now March 2023 and the car is now going into limited transmission and the EML has come up on the dashboard. Been advised to have another transmission and other work to the cost of 5k plus, has anybody got any suggestions that i could try? I read a thread where somebody tried Seafoam Transtune which seemed to help
