Tailgate won't open

Featured Replies

Hi, I am looking for any advice please.

I have a 2017 Ford Galaxy and the tailgate won't open with either the fob or the button release on the Dash. Has anyone had this issue before ?

Any helps much appreciated

Have you tried using the fob button by pressing it twice in quick succession?

Yeah. Tried that also tried replacing the fuse but still won't open. For some reason the buttons to fold the middle seats flat in the boot don't work either.

Is it a power tailgate ? Does it open by pressing the tailgate switch?
