Any help would be amazing! 
 

I am stuck, my stereo unit touch screen has stopped working so I took it to someone who repairs ECU and he said it’s a fault in the RAM that’s unfixable so now I need a new head unit! But I obviously need either a replica replacement or a new unit from Halfords but I’m so scared because my head unit controls my heating and air conditioning, I’m really confused with it all and my car is so boring in traffic with no music lol! 
 

please if anyone can help me or point me in the right direction that would be amazing! Thank you in advance!

    eBay or scrapyard is your best bet.

    There is a complete unit taken from a Mondeo that would work for your car. It looks a bit tatty but you just get rid of all the surround and buttons etc. and just fit the actual radio in to your car.

    You should be OK with getting a replacement from halfords they will fit it for you if you want

    find a better repair guy. i had one of the facelift unit RAM replaced by a local guy who works from home in 24 hours and now it works great.

    however

    I have the same unit as you up for sale (will need to swap couple of bits from yours)

    if interested, I'm asking £60 posted and can send you pics over etc

    BUT if yours has black buttons, mine isn't the same. but i had the black button one fixed 🙂
