I have sold the Focus and bought a 2018 BMW X2.

I shall still stay on here and offer advice, if that's OK?

Jesus, that is the dark side.. actually not that dark, it's not electric.  I take it  your getting used to having no indicator stalk?

Hope your new purchase goes well. The X2 seems like a sensible sized car for a lot of people on this forum. I'd be interested to know how you find it by way of comparison with your Ford, once you've had it for a few weeks, perhaps.

It's really very good. And the automatic transmission is a dream. It actually changes gear! Plus, it even knows what gear it should be in!!

It's about the same size as the current Focus, but the interior is huge, so is the boot.

Oh god its one of those that knows how you SHOULD drive, does it refuse to start if its cold and icy as you might have an accident hahahaha

Out of interest, what box is that, Dave? DCT or slusher? And what make?

On the Diesel it's the Aisen 8 speed Slush box and it's fantastic

On the Petrols it's a 7 Speed DCT

Mines the 2.0 Diesel 18D S-Drive

The 8 speed ZF torque converter type trans is absolutely fantastic

Best auto transmission in the world.

The transverse BMWs have the Aisen though, which isn't far off being as good.

TBF somedays theres more life in here than some of the FB groups i belong to, and some of those are singles groups.

Quiet if electric car owners were banned too. Talking of transmissions.the  transmission on the ioniq is excellent too. Silent 1 speed ( motor and reduction gear)
