2019 Focus st Wheel onto Transit connect 2014?

Hi, I’ve recently bought a Ford Transit Connect LWB 2014, it’s come with a 2019 st steering wheel. The buttons on the right work but for the wrong thing (radio) it also has cruise control on the wheel. I’ve tried to code in the multi functional steering wheel using forscan including trying to enable cruise control. The cruise control sign comes on my digital screen but then goes off after around 5 or so seconds. And the cruise control does not work. The steering wheel buttons light up with the rest of the interior but not all of the buttons work including the cruise control. Is the wheel actually compatible with my van?
