Ford Galaxy 2.0 Powershift 163HP - Boost Issue

Featured Replies

Hi i wonder if anyone could point me in the right direction.

Ive been getting an Engine Malfunction indicator on the dash , when scanning with Forscan i get P2263 Signal Above Allowable Range

Ive changed the MAP sensor as the code suggests but still havent got to the bottom of the issue.

Im starting to veer towards the boost control solonoid , ive been getting erratic readings when watching the BP_OUT % PID.

Symptoms im experiencing are:

  • Loss of power when malfunction comes up
  • Black smoke on acceleration
  • Strong diesel odour
  • Worsened MPG

Any help would be apprechiated ive attached a video of live data readouts during revs.
