I have a 2.0 Duratec petrol engine. When sitting in traffic and temp gauge gets half way, when I pull away it’s gutless and makes a wheezing type sound when change gear! 
 

any ideas what’s happening?

    If people don’t know the answer then they won’t generally reply. It’s not people ignoring you. Would you rather people reply just for the sake of it, without any helpful information?

    This forum is full of people with lots of ideas and information, but there are still limits. We can’t know everything.
