Focus Mk 4.5 - Fullscreen CarPlay?

Featured Replies

Hey all, is this possible with Sync 4 in the Focus Mk 4.5, with the refreshed interior? Picked mine up, and would prefer if CarPlay was in fullscreen rather than displaying the Sync 4 widgets to the left.

Hi Luke

There isn't anyway to force the car to update. You need to make sure the car is connected to home Wi-Fi and has a battery with a decent charge. Also ensure you have set your update times within the settings and auto-update is enabled.

You posted a while a go so hopefully its updated by now, and you have full screen CarPlay - if not ensure the above is followed.

There isn't anyway to force the updates or download them from Ford - you just need to let the car install them Over The Air (OTA).
