I have a Mondeo ghia x 52 plate that has a brake fault. When you press the clutch the brake lights come on. I think it may be the brake light switch but not sure.

Can anyone help.

    it a common fault some people just bend the bracket at the switch,to do it correctley,

    Remove the retaining clip for the brake light switch

    Remove the Brake Pedal switch

    Pull the plunger out until it stops, not too hard!

    Pull the brake pedal up, Reinstall the switch, fit the retaining clip.

    Press the brake pedal with engine running.

    Switch should now be reset.
