I am looking for help to find the part number of a RH front seat control cable for my 2016 mk7 Fiesta ST.

I went to Ford and they ordered what was available via my vin number yet they were sent a cable for the previous generation. The part number was 1619727.

They were convinced my car didn't have the correct seats, even though they came as standard.

Any help is appreciated!

    That is the correct part number for Mk7.  Someone's probably put the wrong sticker on the cable.  Mk6 RH was 1227904.

    Do you have a picture of the new cable?

    It's strange as when i search 1619727, it says online that it is for the mk6 up to 2008

    Yet it wouldn't fit into my car. Mine doesn't have the indentation on front, it is smooth all the way around. I'll grab a photo now

    Hmm, ok I can see what you mean.  I think the cable and handle may come separately for your seats but the parts catalogue isn't clear on that.

    Cable - Genuine Ford Seat Back Latch Release Cable 1558623 | eBay  (*Edit - this is NOT the correct cable*).

    I wouldn't be able to tell if the 1558623 cable is what is needed. Ford were saying i need the latch as well. 

    They want me to pay up front for any other part ordered as they think the seats were aftermarket, even though they were standard. It seems to me there is an issue with their inventory system. 

    I have gotten any other parts we ordered via the vin.

    Forget everything I said about the other cable lol. :rolleyes:  The one they ordered is the correct part, they're just not fitting it correctly.  The seat cover needs to be removed as the cut-out section fits beneath it.  The smooth part comes as part of the release lever.

    (The parts catalogue isn't clear on this, so not entirely their fault.)
