Dipped Beam Headlights

Featured Replies

Hi, I have a Mk7 Fiesta and the dipped beam headlights have stopped working. I have changed the bulbs, fuses and relays but still no luck.

Does anyone have any suggestions? TIA

Maybe the switch is faulty?

On a 2011 Fiesta I'd be concerned that this is a fault with the Body Control Module (BCM).

Disconnect the battery before investigating. You need to remove all the connectors from the BCM and check for signs of water ingress, and corrosion of the plug pins and the tracks of the circuit board.

Agreed, but rule out the switch first, if you know someone who has the same car try their switch in yours, yours in theirs first. Then look at BCM.

Also, if the car has had accident damage to the front at some point and harness damage then it could've broken down now or the repair has now failed
