OK, I'll ask, fan control unit to control what fan?

Won't find a genuine one brand new separate from the fan, Ford bought in as pre-built fan assemblies.

Best bet is buying used on eBay unless you have any local breakers yards to ask.

Edit - Genuine fan & controller assy for £300 here.  Might be worth it if if you intend to keep the car a while.

For Radiator Cooling Fan, my bad. Have ordered a suspiciously cheap but legitimate radiator set with module from ebay, will see how it goes. Doesn't help clutch pressure keeps going and steering wheel knocking all in same week 😞 never had such a bad time with a car

Indeed, but to be fair, I've bought some cr*p on it too over the years, but I have never failed to get  a correct resolution nthrough their 'PayPal' guarantee...

Got mine from eBay, a used unit, make sure you have the exact part number from the old one, there are several types, there are also new Chinese copies available, but how good they are, I couldn’t say.

cheaper pre-owned one here.  https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/363768048184

Yeah I bought a used unit for £65 and it came yesterday. Haven't checked it yet, still trying to find out where my clutch fluid is going 😁

Copies are just time bombs from pictures I have seen. How does your fan usually work on your ST? Does it come on when you open the door as engine is warm, stay on for a ~30 secs after switching engine off? I'm questioning the last 4 months of ownership if my electrics have been faulty this whole time

No it doesn’t come on when the door is opened, it will only come on when the engine is hot, or when the air con has been on and runs on until its cooled to whatever designated temperature required, so it may run for between the 10 seconds to a minute or so.

Check the drivers footwell, the master cylinder leaks into the car usually, or if it’s the slave cylinder, it will be going into the bell housing, having said that, the brake and clutch use the same reservoir, so it may be a brake fluid leak.

Not seen anything yet, have checked around a few times now, half the clutch line was filled with air last week so it's a strange one.

Also, new fan module spins the fan on opening the door as engine is warm again, this one is probably going to burn out soon as well!
