Strange Behaviour with my front wipers

Featured Replies

Ford Galaxy mk2 2010 has suddenly a strange issue, the front wiper are not working correctly as the washer sprayer's are activating with the first two wiper modes Auto Pulse and Normal mode.    When it rained here last I switched on the wipers and the sprayers are constantly running spraying out all the washer fluid. See below

down 1 Single Manual Works ok

up 1 timed pulse washer and wipers running together constantly

up 2 Normal speed washer and wipers running together constantly

up 3 High Speed Normal wiper operation

Washer button working Normally = activates washer and wipers.

I am still looking for a solution but for me first time I have seen something like this.   Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like you have a fault with the Body Control Module (BCM).

Disconnect the battery before investigating the connectors of the BCM, look for signs of water ingress and/or greenish corrosion of the plug pins.
