Very Loose drive belt

I need some Advice please

The drive belt is very loose, I checked the gates number and appears to be the correct belt, I can't see anyway of adjusting it. Its a 1.2 2001 fiesta, mk5 zetec s, it's got air con and power steering. Tried googling but found nothing.

    If it's a new belt with that much slack, you've probably routed it incorrectly.

    Think it'll be this setup?   Spring tensioner is bottom left of pic. 

    Get a spanner on the nut and 'rotate' the tensioner right/upwards to get the belt on.  Then release it to tension the belt.

    Wow, thank you so much, you helped alot! i finally saw what was wrong, the water pump had totally snapped, so i just managed to fit a new one in and put the drive belt on correctly with your diagram. I apricate it so much! Im 19 and fixing my nans car, it was a fiddly engine to work on, may many trials but was worth it in the end! thank you mate.
