Hi All

I have the below dash in my moto , its a sync 2 system and tbh its crap , i wish i plug my phoine in and use android auto but i cant !!

does anyone know if its possible to take it out and replace it with an aftemarklet stereo like a double din pioneer or something like that ?

Only function i would really want to keep is the reverse camera , Ac can be done from the controls underneath as thats what i use anyway .

Please dont sugest i upgrade to a sync 3 , cause the price of that is beyond a joke , id rather spend the money on a new stereo....

    Hi Tony. If memory serves me right then that head unit can indeed be replaced with an aftermarket android unit. Looks standard too. Look on YouTube as there's a few videos on such.

    I think you'll be looking at around the £300 mark. Out of interest how much is the Sync 3 upgrade?

    Someone on here quoted me £620 fitted. bear in mind this wouldnt be a new unit  , so i guess limited if any warrenty. This is why id rather buy an aftermarket stereo !
