Recently cleaned and oiled the k and n air filter. It seems that no dust flows inside the engine. So the air filter seems that it works fine.

It also increases performance a bit. The car breathes better.

On my last car, had a Blitz air induction kit which I cleaned using petrol, then re-oiling with a proprietary Blitz finisher... sounded lovely.

Yes it sounds nicely.

Surprised you can hear any discernible difference as it's simply a change of filter from original, still, if it makes you happy...

LOL, I 1st put a K&N chrome filter on my 1982 Fiesta XR2, I thought I could outrun a Porsche after fitting 😂

Changed the air box with the st's. It also has two pipes instead of one for more air flow. The lid is like the rs (it is open), but it doesnt get heat from engine because it shuts when the car bonnet (car hood) is closed .

Today also cleaned and oiled the mk5 fiesta's k&n air filter. It seems that it also keeps the dust, so it filters well.
