Airbag warning, OBED2

Hi,

I failed the MOT, on my S-max 2008, bcs of the lamp for airbag showing up.

I want to buy an OBED2 instrument that can close the lights on the dashboard. What make/model should I buy that can switch off the yellow light on the dashboard ; )

    Did the handbrake pass the MOT?  I may have misunderstood your other thread if it did! :unsure:

    You'll need Forscan to diagnose the airbag lamp.  The V-Linker FS cable is regularly recommended on here for use with Forscan now.

    Be aware that if there is a fault, the light will keep coming back on until you fix it.

    Thank you for your replies. No i failed on both the airbag and the handbreak.

    I am not that used to fix cars. But i need a obd2 reader forscan adapter? And also a V-linker fS cable?

    You only need the cable as long as you already have a laptop to download the Forscan app on to.

    If you only have a phone or tablet, you will need a wireless adapter instead.
