Dull day running lights

Featured Replies

Hi, the LED day running lights on my mk8 fiesta have gone dull, is this the headlight that needs replacing or some kind of control module.

thanks

Both of them? One would mean a faulty ballast but two together would suggest something that they had in common, maybe a control unit.

Hi, thanks for the reply, one went about 3 weeks ago and the other has just started to go yesterday, just the bottom half at the moment, the car is a driving school car so they are running all day

Sounds like you are going to need 2 new headlight units as the DRL are not a serviceable item.

So I have replaced the control unit on the back of the headlight, about £75.00 and problem solved 😁
