Sync 3 showing wrong date when you try to update

Hi I checked tonight and my Ford account said that Sync 3 update from 3.4.21194 to 3.4 22200 was available. I made sure the car was connected to my house wifi and went into Sync 3 and search for updates. A circle went round for about 10 minutes then said your software is up to date but gave a date of 27.02.2000 but the correct time that I was trying to do the update it and also never updated to 3.4.22200. The car is actually set up for automatic updates and has been since I did an update just after buying it in June 2022.

Any suggestions

    Wifi should work for Sync 3 updates but not map updates. It worked last year shortly after I bought the car. May try update with a USB stick but worried about something going wrong with the files. Spoke to someone in Ford garage today and they said just leave it at present version if working ok. They couldn't understand why the date was coming up as the year 2000 either.

    My understanding is while WiFi updates did work for Sync3, Ford have quietly depreciated the service. USB updates still work though for firmware and maps 🙂
