Airbag light

I accidently started my car whilst it was in first gear and the sudden jolt forward has caused the airbag light to come on. A quick scan with a basic obd2 reader isn't showing any faults and I have had the battery disconnected for over an hour to clear the ECU but the problem persists, what can I do to fix this? It's a  2018 1.0 ecoboost.

    The proper solution is to get a better scanner to read the faults.

    But I'd unplug & re-plug the connectors under the front seats just on the off-chance that it's them.

    Wriggled drivers seat plug about, sat in passenger seat and fastened seat belt, something worked, lights out, thank you.
