Engine swap - Ford fiesta ecoboost 1.0L

Featured Replies

I am going to swap my Ford fiesta ecoboost engine 1.0L as dead due to wet belt.

The engine I have found for my car is SFJH, it is an auto, my question is can I replace my engine with engine code SFJD?

thanks

Did the new engine come from an Automatic as well?

The auto engines are slightly different to manual engines as they contain a balance shaft.

Yes, I've looked at the specs and looks like it came from an auto

In that case it should be ok, you may just find a few minor parts from your old engine have to be swapped over.
