Ford Focus MK3 Econetic 1.6 Diesel 2014

Featured Replies

So I’ve got a Ford Focus Mk3 Econetic 1.6. When driving there is a lack of boost and then all of a sudden it will put the ‘check engine service now’ warning light on. Once the cars turned off and back on again it doesn’t come back on straight away and everything is back to normal

ive had my Focus on a scanner and the codes that came up are

P0825-00 Gear lever push/pull switch circuit (gear anticipate)

P011D-92 Charge Air Temperature/Intake Air Temperature Correlation Bank 2

P2563-00 Turbocharger Boost Control Position Sensor Circuit Range/ Performance

The parts that have been replaced already are the MAF Sensor and the Boost solenoid

Anyone have any ideas as I’m now struggling to figure out what it could be that’s causing it to lose power and go into limp mode

Many Thanks

Have you checked for loose boost hoses or damaged intercooler?

That boost code relates to the sensor on the bottom of the turbo actuator.  Worth checking the sensor and the wiring to it.

I'm not saying it's this but I had exactly the same with mine. Changed the fuel filter never happened since
