Changed ACM on 2013 Focus, Volume buttons not working

Featured Replies

Hi there,

recently my ACM burned and was not working. So I get a new ACM from marketplace everything works fine except the volume buttons. Both on the steering wheel and radio units. I tried to reprogram with Forscan, FoCCCus with no luck.

So the Original ACM's part number is:

CM5T-19C107-HD

New One's:

CM5T-19C107-KD

I dont know why the volume button is not working, what should I do?

I also have the full sync2 kit and parts but don't want to do that right now.  This ACM also comes from that sync2 kit.

Any help is appreciated.

That's what you needed to replace it.

Using forscan, with paid license, plug the old ACM back into the car, read and download software/firmware levels using Forscan

Read and copy the ASbuilt config files from the old ACM and save to your PC

Install replacement ACM, install software/firmware from old ACM to new ACM, reset module

Install saved ASbuilt files from old ACM to new ACM

That may not be possible.

Providing it shows up when connected and he hasn't deleted the profile, it should all be there

I only have theese sections and already tried to backup the apim configure from old acm and pasted in new acm still no luck.
Btw old acm just resetting himself when I try to open on thats why I said its burned.

The ACM in European cars is not programmable. The only configuration you can change is in the central config on the BCM and the ACM picks up certain settings from there.
