Import to Portugal without eCOC - Advice

Featured Replies

Hi

I have a 2005 Transit 350 LWB that I want to import to Portugal and acquire Portuguese number plates. A process known as homologacao.  For a van of that age, Ford do not have an eCoC (european certificate of conformity).

However, the portugese authorities will accept a Ficha Tecnica ( technical datasheet).

Does anyone know how or where to get this ?

Ford UK have not been very helpful in this.

I can't work out whether this is a specific legal document or whether you could produce your own using information from the logbook etc.

This company seems to sell them for 89EUR - but they don't look particularly special.

They even "Spreack 37 Language" but sadly not English 🤣
