Does anyone tested or has the Ford Focus mk3 Short Shifter v2 2011-18?

    Hi Bol. Personally speaking I don't see the point in a short shifter unless it's fitted to a performance car.

    Since the car will not be remapped that would be a nice modification.

    It won't make any difference to performance at all.

    Just means the gear knob doesn't move so far when changing gear.

    Shouldn't damage the gearbox but I've seen complaints about them slipping (not tight enough) and making gear shifts impossible until refitted or removed.

    Don't think they're worth the risk & hassle myself, but each to their own.
