Coolant Bottle air bubbles

Featured Replies

Hello

Coolant bottle cap was glued on and I managed to change it and since I did that change I was keeping closer look at coolant bottle and I have noticed this issue you can see on the video in the link provided. I have changed the bottle since but problem seems to be still there. Idk if this bubbling is a problem or not but car drives fine and no overheating problems but I am not sure if this bubbling is normal or not. Coolant level seems to stay in the same place. Any help, suggestion or solution welcome. Thank Yoy guys

I’ve not personally noticed that before, but it’s certainly bubbling.

Could be a number of things, super hot water from around the turbo, not sure if these cars have a auxiliary coolant pump that runs after the engine shuts down.

Did you buy a genuine Ford coolant cap and expansion tank?
