Ford Fiesta Zetec rear diffuser replacement.

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I have a 2015 fiesta Zetec, and i am getting tired of looking at the standard rear diffuser. There are multiple aftermarket diffusers for the Zetec S and ST-line fiesta's,

but none for a regular Zetec. My question would be if these would fit anyway, even though they are ment for a slightly different car.

The difusser i am currently looking at is this one: https://autobeam.co.uk/collections/fiesta-mk7-5-2013-2017/products/rear-diffuser-fiesta-mk7.

It also seems that Zetec S and ST-line fiesta's have a different trim or lover side panels. Would these be needed in order to not make it look stupid?

My alternative would just be to put an extension on the stock diffuser like this one, but i would rather avoid that if possible: https://rdx.de/en/products/ford/fiesta-mk7-ja8-jr8/rdx-rear-bumper-extension-fiesta-mk7-ja8-jr8-2008-2012-2012-diffusor.

Thanks in advance!

There are some pics in this thread showing an aftermarket diffuser without the side pieces (or "spats") which may give you an idea.

Btw there are loads of threads on here over the last 10 years or so about swapping Mk 7/7.5 diffusers for the Zetec S, ST, or aftermarket versions if you have a good search around for ideas.

Only problem is that i cant find any diffusers without side pieces. They are nowhere to be found on any webshop or ebay. A similar diffuser to the one you showed me was meant for a pre-facelift 3-door i think. I am just wondering if a ST-line diffuser like the on i linked will just click in place (and maybe need drilling).

The first one you linked from Autobeam needs the “spats” on the corner of the bumper. There aren’t many for cars with out the ‘“spats”,  Try searching for a Fiesta Lester diffuser.

sometimes easier to find a complete bumper from a Zetec-S or ST-line, an ST one will fit but then you have a cutout visible for the exhaust and only ST exhausts line up with the cutout.
