please my order over a month ago, received an email from Ford a few days after placing the order, thanking me for placing my order, but have heard nothing since.  can anyone advise that's received a MK4.5 focus recently what the communication was like from Ford.  my dealer is saying Ford will keep me updated

    You're unlikely to get any updates until the car arrives at the dealership.

    There is no public tracking now, but the salesman should be able to check the progress on their system if you ask at regular intervals.  (Though they may get fed up if you keep asking)

    The dealer should be able to give you an eta on build date and delivery to dealership if its a factory order. Usually takes 4 to 6 weeks from build to delivery.

     

    I ordered my Focus ST on 28th March, built 12th May, delivered to dealership 30th June and picked up 14th July.
