Sync 3 software update

Hi guys,

  so I just had my sync 1(nav) on my 2012 focus st upgraded to sync 3(nav)and it came with sync 2.0 update and have only 2 issue right now. Everything else works perfectly fine.

1. I tried to update it to the latest sync software and it said update in progress but nothing happened after hours of wait.I tried the update from ford website and the other one that was suggested to me. Also I have watched many videos and I don’t seem to find what’s wrong with it.

2. When I am on a call while connecting to Bluetooth or CarPlay, I can’t hear what the person on the other side is talking at all but apparently they can hear me. I am not sure what’s the issue here but I have tried everything.

  I am here to ask for help for these two issues. If anyone could help it would be appreciated.

    Check connections

    Check your head unit (ACM) is compatible with the Sync 3 system (APIM) you have fitted

    You may need to update the firmware in the ACM

    Use Cyanlabs to update the Sync 3 system, follow their instructions to the letter and it will be fine and on 3.4
