Hose snapped off

Featured Replies

Hi all, just wondering if anyone can tell me what this hose part is called, seems it was repaired previously. Knocked it with spanner and it snapped off oops.

Forgot to mention car is a 2009 Ford Focus TDCi 1.6

The circle is over two hoses.

Thick hose is the oil breather.  Thin hose is vacuum for brake servo.

Assuming it's the oil breather, they break all the time.  You may be able to bodge it with a cable tie.

Only available from Ford as part of the air intake pipe but you can find aftermarket parts just for the short rocker cover connector.

Apologies, its the thinner hose which attaches to side of engine

Oh dear.  That one's pretty important.

Is the pipe that's snapped or just the pump connector?

Connector here:

Pipe here (double check reg with the seller as there are a few options):

I think it's the connector but the pipe side is full of what I assume is epoxy from a previous repair. Looking st the 2nd link, mine seems to have more pipes coming off if with T piece so struggling to find correct one.

Really appreciate your replies btw, I was lost in Google search trying to find the connector!
