Problem fitting focus 2 facelift rear bumper

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I picked up a used rear bumper of a facelift focus 2 to swap with my pre facelift bumper. The metal bolts on the sides of both the new and old bumper were completely rusted and stuck, so we had to cut them off.

Problem now is that the left side doesn't fit properly, see attached pics. Is this because of the missing bolts or something else? Any easy fix that preferably doesn't require removing what's left of the rusted bolts? It does fit if I push on it, but obviously doesn't stay in place.
