Forscan - Engine Sound Enhancement question

Featured Replies

Hi All

I have been looking for quite a few days now but cant seem to find the answer to something. From my understanding the Fiesta MK8 & 8.5 ST's  have some sort of engine enhancement sound coming from the speakers (i believe the MK7 had something under the seat and/or some piping in the engine bay)

So when you floor it in the MK8 or 8.5 ST's the sound fills up the entire passenger cabin. Many people have turned this off using Forscan and specifically by turning off the Engine Sound Enhancement option within it.

What i want to know (and if someone has already tried it) is if this option is off by default on other models of Fiesta (i dont know if it is) and if it is enabled can i get the same sound in my Fiesta MK8 ST Line 100PS.

The ultimate goal here being i want my ST Line to sound like an ST when flooring it.

Thanks

im attaching a pic here of the option in Forscan i found on the internet.

All you need is a couple of 5 year boys in the back seat and they will provide all the sound effects you could ever need, including "Brummmmmmm" "Screachhhhh...." and even formula 1 noises by special request 🤣

Why stop at ST?  I'd want it to sound like a V8 Mustang inside...
