Thinkware Dashcam

Featured Replies

Hi all,

having a right mare at the moment trying to figure out if I’ve hardwired my Thinkware F800 pro up properly.

In my old focus 2009 I got it working just fine but recently got a focus estate 2017 titanium and struggling to get anything to work.

I understand the yellow hardwire cable needs to go to a live fuse and the red accessory cable to a switch fuse.

I’ve got earth cable connected to one of bolts to the left of the glove compartment behind the front passenger door seal.

So looked up some stuff here on the forums etc and went through my passenger fuse guide in the manual but to no avail.

can anyone here point me in the right direction of what fuses they piggybacked off to get their dash cam in general working off a hardwire setup.

Passenger compartment fusebox:

Constant Live Fuses - F67, F69, F71

Switched Live Fuses (via ignition) - F85, F87
