Ford Focus mk2.75 very weird but too good to turn down.

Right where to even start with this one.

Its a ford focus from the year 2555( yes in Thailand we live in the future) 2555 works out at 2012 i believe, but looking deeper its a 2010 focus mk2.75 that was sold in 2012.

It had a 2.0 v16 engine cc003004  which was swapped for Mazda LF-035283 due to the previous old lady seemingly not servicing the car its whole life.

Being an asian car its automatic "yes i know i have done some research" but the car is pretty much free, I had the engine mounts and wheel bearings changed this morning as both were shot. I've had some previous run in's with ford here and I'm being polite when i say id rather have my 4 year old niece service the car than them, I'm a engineer and tool maker by trade so i'll be the main service agent for the car.

I've already grabbed the service manual and gone over most of the car and most of the issues seem to be minor defects caused by previous people maintaining the car and nothing i cant sort out with a good days work.

anything you folks can tell me or point me towards would be greatly appreciated.

I'll drop in some more photos when I can but please let me know if theres any other info that would be useful.

Many thanks Jon

Oh and just to point out there isn't exactly an MOT here in Thailand they check the brakes work when you tax a car and that's it so anything goes.

Authorized service centers don't follow any recommendations from service guides, I've had to force ford to replace coil packs on my brother in law's ranger when they went at 150k km even though they changed the battery 3 times claiming that was the issue and gave him a bag of fuses for the ignition system.

The OG Focus MK2.75 is on instagram, Ford never promoted or created a 2.75 dude, this is just a MK2.5 which is also known as a "facelift" 2005-2007 was a "pre-facelift" MK2 🤘pic attached all genuine Ford panels 😉

they clearly swapped front wings and added the indicator repeaters to the door mirrors - calling it a mk 2.75 adds that clarity quite nicely

these are one of the last real cars available - after this the world moved to "the lease it and scrap it in 3 years" business model
