Nearside (Passenger Side Headlight) Replacement Required

Featured Replies

Hi all,
This will be my first topic here, I was hoping if anyone could assist me in this. So I have an old 2003 Ford Fiesta. Recently while parked, a car hit it on the front passenger side and drove off. It damaged the right wing and also the Passenger side headlight got displaced breaking one of the housing in it. A local garage screwed it in somehow and it worked till I got my MOT done that it failed and now I am in need of a new Passenger side Headlight.  I'm looking for a used one online. The Part # on my (current) headlight is 2S6X13W030BH but online (eBay) the part I'm finding is 2S6X13W030BJ
Just wanted to check if there is any difference between the two or not? Can the latter one be used as a replacement for the current headlight!

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

It's actually your second topic - 19th October 2021 - Phone cradle 😉 but who's counting away ?

It is the exact same part just a later revision. The very last letter H is the date/revision of the part. You can use any part that has the same number and the last letter H, J, K, L, M, N etc.

You should not try to use parts with an earlier revision like D, E, F, G.

I suspect the current light isn't original anyway.  Surely they couldn't make 7 revisions to the headlight during the first year of Mk6 production?
