Brake pedal noise

Featured Replies

Hi

noticed this evening not sure how long this has been happening as I usually have music on in the car. When I press on the brake pedal it makes a sound like air releasing. Brakes don’t feel any different and fluid is at a Norma level. Does anyone know what this might be?

thanks in advance

The brakes are vacuum assisted.  As long as they work fine, the noise is nothing to worry about.

Thank you , I honestly know very little about cars so literally worry about everything 😩 brakes seem to be working as normal I’ve not noticed anything strange other then this noise this evening.
