Galaxy Mk2 Key fob Intermittent

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have a galaxy mk2. One of the key fobs only works  for a short while after I have opened the car with the other key fob.  So what happens is:

  • Key Fob 1 won't work
  • Press any button on Key Fob 2 to trigger the car
  • Try Key Fob 1 and it works
  • After 10 mins try Key Fob 1 again, it doesn't work

I have tried resyncing the keys and replacing the battery.

Really strange as once I use the second key fob, the first key fob will work for a short while.

Any ideas on what the issue is.

Thanks

Odd one on me.

Other than making sure the batteries are good quality, not fake or cheap Chinese.

Energizer from a reputable source is best
