Bought everything I need for upgrading from Sync 1 to Sync 3 but need the USB Hub.

Does anyone know if this will work?

    That's the one I use in my 2016 Mk3.5 SYNC3 upgrade from SYNC2.

    You might want to check the connectors match with the one you are removing, you may need an adaptor, as my car is a later model.

    It's around £60-70. 

    I'm just wondering if there's any reason why the one in the OP won't work instead of this, with it being cheaper, if it works it'd make sense to buy that.

    I have just acquired one of these from ebay with 1 singular input for the usb however when i went to remove the one from the armrest it has 2 usb inputs a silver and a black one i know im sounding picky but have got used to plugging my music drive into the usb near the gearstick which i know i will lose, could do with a double input one but they are silly money as carplay works fine with the sync 2 hub i may just make do, the hub warning only comes on now and again 🙂
