Longer accelerator pedal cover [Mk6 1.25 Style]

Hi, is it possible to get longer accelerator pedal covers on a 2008 Mk6 1.25 Style? The wife can't rest her heel on the floor mat whilst accellerating, her foot has to hover in the air. I'd really like her to be able to drive it, otherwise she is driving my Zetec Sport

    Not that I am aware of.

    For my wife on a previous car, I bolted a plate on to the existing pedal just to lengthen it.

    Which model Zetec S is that?  Maybe you could use the pedal cover from one of those?

    Must admit that was a bit of an anti-climax! :laugh:

    Looks like aftermarket pedal cover will be the way to go.
