Clutch pedal sticking

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I have a mk3.5 1.5 tdci zetec. Last April (2022) the clutch pedal would intermittently not return to the normal position and would stick half way down. I had to pull it back up with my foot and it would be OK for a while. I had the clutch and slave cylinder replaced.

The issue has now returned.

Does anyone have any ideas on what it might be now? I don't want to get all the clutch or slave cylinder replaced again.

Many thanks.

Hopefully it's the master cylinder this time.  Not impossible for it to be the slave again though.

Well hope so to. Been quoted £300 to replace the master
