Focus MK2 1.8 FlexiFuel - problem with rpm fluctuations

Featured Replies

Hi!

I come to you from Poland because I cannot find a specific solution to my problem on local forums.

I have a Ford Focus MK2 1.8 FlexiFuel 2008.
The car is additionally powered by LPG.

So getting to the point. My Ford has a problem with rpm fluctuations when the engine is cold. It doesn't always happen, sometimes it's weaker, sometimes stronger, and sometimes the revs swing up and down so much that the car stalls. In addition, I have to wait until the engine warms up slightly before I can start, otherwise it jerks very strongly. And this happens on a cold engine when I start it (on petrol)

And when the engine is warm, when I get to a traffic light, the car often loses speed, sometimes even shuts down completely.

I took the car to a mechanic who only repairs Fords, and after five visits he gave up...

I decided to act on my own and dug through a lot of Polish threads in which people have the same problem, replace half the car's parts and nothing brings results.

Additionally, error P0420 appears in my car from time to time - regarding the second lambda probe.
I have the catalytic converter removed and a probe emulator installed in the second probe.
I also have the swirl flaps removed and their negative pressures plugged.

Things I verified:
-Cleaning the throttle
-CAN memory reset
-Checking petrol injectors
-LPG map correction
-Replacement of LPG injectors
-Replacement of spark plugs with OEM Ford ones
-Battery replacement
-Alternator regeneration
-Cylinder pressure measurement (16/17/17/17 Bar)
-Measurement of valve clearances

1cyl intake 0.25 intake 0.25
exhaust 0.30 exhaust 0.30

2cyl intake 0.25 intake 0.25
exhaust 0.30 exhaust 0.30

3cyl intake 0.25 intake 0.25
exhaust 0.25 (loosely) exhaust 0.35

4cyl intake 0.30 intake 0.25
exhaust 0.30 exhaust 0.35"

Youtube - video with my RPM recording

If you need more videos of this problem, I have whole folders of them on my phone

Do you have any ideas how I can solve this problem?

FlexFuel is not a thing in the UK and even LPG is very rare, so there will be little help if any available on this UK site.
