Good morning all, I have a mk4 focus st line and I'm wondering if anyone knows of these have electric power steering or if they are hydraulic power steering. the reason I ask is that I get a low whiring noise( best I can describe it) when turning the wheel.

    thanks very much mate, so I'm guessing the noise that I'm hearing is just because it's electric

    Yep, the motor is attached to the lower part of steering column
